KATABASIS: Journey to the Underworld
WELCOME to the Underworld! KATABASIS is a multiplayer board game that I conceptualized, designed, and tested. The game is centered around the various quests or the “katabasis” through the Underworld, and players compete to see who can get into and out of Tartarus the fastest!
A swirling path snakes down into the Underworld and back out to the mortal realm. Included across the board are illustrative representations of the geography of the Underworld. Rivers serve as shortcuts, symbol tiles indicate that an action card should be drawn.
